Born in Lebanon, Virginia, 1963. Graduated in 1985 from VA Tech with a B.S. in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude. Owned and operated Adams & Co., P.C. with Robert Adams since 1989. Began Full-time management of firm April 1, 1994.

Previously employed by Sprint-United Telephone in Bristol, TN for 10 years, holding the positions of Tax Accounting Supervisor 4 years, Revenue Accounting Manager 1 year, General Accounting Manager/Acting-Controller 2 years, Chair of the Accounting transition team for Sprint Mid-Atlantic merger 1 year.

Member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Licensed CPA since July 1988. Currently serving on the VSCPA Tax Advisory Committee and the Virginia Department of Taxation tax professionals feedback group.

Sarah enjoys time with her 4 grandchildren, playing viola in the Heart of Appalachia Community Orchestra, teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir.
